The ESSA bill was released Monday and is 1,061 pages long. Three days is NOT sufficient to read, analyze, or vote on the bill. An aide to Congressman Dave Trott told me she had only read portions and it is “mind numbing.” She’s right. Any vote should be delayed until a proper vetting of the bill can be completed.
