WE LOSE FREEDOM with COMMON CORE TESTS!

1.      9 states, including our competitor Indiana, have pulled out of Common Core testing

2.      There was no public or legislative input.   Our legislature did not vote on CC Testing.

3.   MICHIGAN legislature and school board lost control of testing and standards, when the State Board contracted testing to SMARTER, a federally funded testing consortium with a federally appointed question validation committee. We will have only a 1 of 24 votes on cutoff scores, questions and more.  Links here and here.

4.      Our student’s academic and psychometric data will be collected and made accessible to many due to CC testing and data requirements, circumventing privacy.

It is Unconstitutional and dangerous for the Federal Government to Control Education
