Tuesday, April 26, the Senate Education Committee approved of SB 826 to Repeal and Replace Common Core, Science, and Social Studies and reported it out of committee. SB 826 now moves to the full Senate for a vote. Calls are needed to YOUR Senator and to Senate Majority Leader Meekhof. Tell them to vote YES on SB 826.
HB 5444 (House version) to Repeal and Replace Common Core is in the House Education Committee and has NOT been taken up. Calls are needed to House Education Chair, Rep. Amanda Price and the members of the House Education Committee. Politely and strongly, request that they hold hearings immediately on HB 5444 and vote YES.
